One of my first Hawkwind-inspired pieces. It just didn't seem to find itself as I worked on it. So I saved it for a later attempt. This is the second version of this particular song. I had the original on a mix CD to listen to in the car and kept thinking that it needed a bit more orchestration, and something else that I couldn't define. So I pulled up the original file one day and tried it again. This is still only about halfway there, but it began to show me that the elusive "something more" needed to be. I would eventually make a third attempt, which will show up on my steampunk "Airships Suite" album. But this one was special, and I couldn't bear to waste it.
